Dried mint leaves were found in Wgyptian pyramides. Mint was seen as symbol of hospitality by Romans. Romans use mint to flavour their wines and sauces. The Arabs use mint for many purposes including skin diseases and as a general tonic. Native Americans use it as a home perfume and as an ingredient in hair oil.
It has a strong, refreshing an minty aroma. Mint has an antifungal and antisceptic property. It is used as a skin wash for skin irritation. It is useful for dry hair and promotes hair growing.
